چکیده
This paper is a study of 5,000 articles from the PubMed Medical Library. The main subject of our review is Muscle Synergy, which has become an important subject in rehabilitation therapy. For the study we input different string combinations with the following words: strategy, power, synergy, model, dynamics, adjustment, analysis, recovery, acquisition, coordination, multijoint, skill ,stroke, kinematics, kinetic, postural, joint, muscle, musculoskeletal, inverse, and posture. Then, from the results we discerned the full text articles, and choose those which were more important to the subject and whose text analysis concepts were muscle, synergies, control, activation, patterns, and motor. For each chosen article we took the key sentences and ordered the review from newer (2015) to oldest (1998). The intention of this paper is to make easier for the researchers to get into the literature of the subject.

Neuroplasticity and neuromotor synergies in context of rehabilitation after stroke: a systematic review
Background: Alterations of neuroplasticity and cortical excitability are important pathophysiological factors in stroke. Modulation of the neuroplasticity has been proposed as an underlying mechanism of recovery in different neurological disorders. But it is not still clear how the CNS faces the complexity of muscle control. Neuroplastic processes may be used for the functional improvement of s...
متن کاملInvestigation of Muscle Synergies Using Four Different Methods of Synergy Extraction While Running on a Treadmill in Beginner Runners
Introduction: The study of muscle synergy is a new way to evaluate the functioning of the human body's control system. Different mathematical methods are used to extract muscle synergies from electromyographic data, and this factor can cause different outputs in muscle synergies. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate muscle synergies using four different synergy extraction methods...
متن کاملFirst Case Report of Extensor Digitorum Brevis Manus (Edbm) in Iran and Literature Review
During the dissection of a fifty-years old male cadaver with normally fined, we observed a rare variation in the dorsum of its hands in both sides. This variation was abnormal extensor digitorum brevis manus muscle (EDBM), which originated from the dorsum of wrist and inserted to the u]nar side of the index tendon of extensor digitorum muscle. In this case, extensor indicis muscle was absent. I...
متن کاملThe Tibetan Uterotonic Zhi Byed 11: Mechanisms of Action, Efficacy, and Historical Use for Postpartum Hemorrhage
Objective. To explore evidence for the traditional Tibetan medicine, Zhi Byed 11 (ZB11), for use as a uterotonic. Methods. The eleven ingredients in ZB11 were chemically analyzed by mass spectroscopy. A review was conducted of Western allopathic literature for scientific studies on ZB11's individual components. Literature from Tibetan and other traditional paradigms were reviewed. Results. Pote...
متن کاملEmpirical Evaluation of Voluntarily Activatable Muscle Synergies
The muscle synergy hypothesis assumes that individual muscle synergies are independent of each other and voluntarily controllable. However, this assumption has not been empirically tested. This study tested if human subjects can voluntarily activate individual muscle synergies extracted by non-negative matrix factorization (NMF), the standard mathematical method for synergy extraction. We defin...
